NUYE
Waking up in a lonely place after isolation; we feel we are missing something.
We begin to search from the inside, to complete ourselves again: seeking between our light and our shadows, amidst our contradictions that strangely seem to be complementary; surrealism/rationality, certainty/poetry...
Then suddenly, when the outside world collides with our inner universe, we realize even more clearly the need to seek and connect with the other, with other people; to be able to touch them, shake hands, share a hug, be together...
Like half words that join to make whole words, and words that unite to create a phrase.
Because sometimes we feel that we are made up of many halves. Balance, trust, duality, separation, conflicts ... These are concepts that appear in our circus and choreographic proposal for six acrobats that reflects the comings and goings between self and others, in a constant search to feel complete.
Last prize obtained: the Zirkolika prize (best indoor circus show).

The Compagnie de Cirque "eia" (élans imprévus accordés in French, 'oui' in Sardinian) was born in 2009 from the merger of several artists: Armando Rabanera, Fabrizio Giannini and Cristiano Della Monica (Cirque Vague, Circo de la Sombra and Le Grand Osim Orchestra) and Francesca Lissia and Celso Pereira (Celso y Frana).
With 15 years' collective experience, five active creations and over 800 performances in 25 countries, Compagnie de Cirque eia" has established itself as a benchmark company in contemporary Catalan and Spanish circus. At the heart of its creations is a human circus, capable of evoking the complexity of human relationships.

“Nuye explores the relationship with the other in all its forms in a moving set, a playground for a multitude of acrobatic figures, a modular wall pierced with holes and doors and equipped with a trampoline, like a footbridge to the sky. The six acrobats happily draw us into their imaginary world of acrobatics and icarian games, offering us an impressive performance that oscillates between strength and gentleness, inviting us to dream of new balances. An intense journey!”
